Speak the way you'd tell a friend: name first, then the place, the day, and anything worth remembering — "Met Cliff at the Anza Club on Saturday, he's a doctor, his website is doctorcliff.com." The app shows you everything it heard before you save, so you can fix anything it got wrong. It also learns: the more people you save, the better it hears the next name.
In a loud room, hold the phone a little closer and pause briefly between the name and the rest — the confirm screen will show you exactly what landed.
On the Map keeps everything on your device — that's the whole point — which means backups are in your hands. Use the backup export in the app to save a backup file somewhere safe (your Files app, iCloud Drive, anywhere you trust). Restoring from a backup brings back your people, places, notes, and photos.
Important: because your data lives only on your device, deleting the app deletes everything in it. Updating or reinstalling the app over top of itself is always safe — but if you ever plan to remove it, export a backup first.
The Legend is a single $4.99 purchase that unlocks the full feature set, permanently. It's handled by the App Store or Google Play; if you reinstall or change phones, use "Restore Purchases" in the app and Apple restores it at no charge.
First aid that fixes most things: close the app fully (swipe it away) and reopen it. If a problem survives that, email me with what you did, what you expected, and what happened instead — a screenshot helps enormously.
I read everything. Feature ideas welcome — the best parts of this app started as somebody's suggestion.
